Speaking after the 7-0 friendly win over Burkina Faso, the midfielder said the coach “built all of this” and stressed the need for the team to continue competing at the highest level. According to GOAL, the Argentine Football Association has offered Scaloni a contract extension through the 2028 Copa America, with an option to continue until the 2030 World Cup.
