Cristiano Ronaldo’s wife deletes scathing attack on Portugal boss Jorge Jesus
Cristiano Ronaldo’s wife, Georgina Rodríguez, has deleted a social media post aimed at Portugal head coach Jorge Jesus amid the controversy surrounding Ronaldo’s departure from the national team camp. According to AS USA, Rodríguez shared a message on Instagram criticising Jesus, alongside a quote attributed to former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
The quote questioned why Jesus selected Ronaldo if he did not intend to play him, but Rodríguez later deleted the post after it emerged the Ferguson quote appeared to be fabricated. She also questioned Jesus’ name in the message, adding another layer to the increasingly tense situation. Ronaldo has since returned to Saudi Arabia and is expected to resume duties with Al Nassr, while Portugal prepare to face Norway without their captain.
