England star Alex Scott could miss two months after injury blow
England midfielder Alex Scott has withdrawn from Thomas Tuchel’s squad after suffering an injury following his impressive full international debut against Croatia. According to the Daily Star, the Bournemouth midfielder could face up to two months on the sidelines, although the worst-case scenario remains unconfirmed and he could be out for only a few weeks.
Scott played 70 minutes during England’s remarkable 7-0 victory in Rijeka and earned praise from Tuchel, who suggested he could challenge Declan Rice for a starting role. The 23-year-old had previously made his England debut from the bench against Czechia last month.
