Ondo police nab monarch’s son, Aiyedatiwa’s relative in engineer Ojogo Malo’s murder
Police in Ondo State have arrested Alex Ikuesan, son of the Olubo of Obenla Kingdom, Oba Andrew Kolawole Ikuesan, over the death of Prince Engineer Ojogo Malo following a financial dispute.
According to SaharaReporters, Ikuesan, who is reportedly related to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, was arrested at Okitipupa Divisional Police Station before being transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department.
Malo was found dead on October 3 after disagreements allegedly involving millions of naira.
His brother, Barrister Francis Malo, alleged that Ikuesan had threatened the engineer before his death.
“Right in my presence, they started threatening Malo. He threatened the engineer, Ojogo Malo, my younger brother,” Francis said.
The family also alleged that unfamiliar men visited Malo’s residence before his death.
“We want justice, and we also want all the security agencies in Ondo State to come to our rescue,” Francis said.
Police have not announced charges against Ikuesan, while Malo’s cause of death remains officially undetermined.
