Former England striker Teddy Sheringham has surprisingly ranked Liverpool forward Alexander Isak above Manchester City’s Erling Haaland as the Premier League’s best striker. According to Tribuna, Sheringham praised Isak’s movement, finishing and overall quality, describing the Sweden international as “phenomenal” and backing him to win the Golden Boot.

Isak has scored four league goals this season, one fewer than Haaland’s five. Sheringham particularly highlighted the Liverpool forward’s intelligent movement inside the penalty area, believing his return to full fitness has helped him rediscover his best form after an injury-hit debut campaign at Anfield.
