Man United receive boost as £50m Croatia striker ‘ready’ for Old Trafford move
Manchester United have reportedly received a major boost in their pursuit of Freiburg striker Igor Matanovic, with the Croatia international said to be keen on a move to Old Trafford.
According to TEAMtalk, journalist Pete O’Rourke has claimed Matanovic would “jump” at the opportunity to join United and is attracted by the prospect of playing in the Premier League.
The 23-year-old has scored six goals and provided two assists in seven appearances this season. Freiburg are reportedly under no pressure to sell during January, however, and could demand around £50 million for the striker, who is also being monitored by Arsenal and Chelsea.
