Maresca makes bold prediction on Man City’s Premier League appeal

Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has expressed confidence that the club will win their appeal against the Premier League’s financial charges, insisting he fully trusts the club’s hierarchy according to Liverpool Echo. Speaking ahead of Sunday’s clash against Liverpool, Maresca maintained that his focus remains on football while the appeal process continues.

City were found guilty of 114 breaches of financial regulations, with a Premier League commission ruling that the club artificially inflated commercial revenues by £830 million between 2009 and 2018. Maresca acknowledged the seriousness of the case but urged his players to remain focused ahead of their challenging trip to Anfield. He also confirmed that Erling Haaland is fit for the encounter.
