Barcelona have confirmed that captain Raphinha will miss their next two matches against Getafe and Galatasaray after medical tests revealed a minor muscle problem. Manager Hansi Flick announced the Brazilian’s absence at a press conference on Friday, explaining that the club would take precautions following his injury problems last season.

According to Barca Blaugranes, Raphinha will miss Saturday’s La Liga encounter with Getafe and Tuesday’s Champions League trip to Galatasaray. Barcelona are reportedly prioritising his recovery ahead of a demanding run of fixtures against Real Betis, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid
