Man Utd suffer injury blow as Michael Carrick gives Benjamin Sesko return update
Manchester United have been dealt an injury setback after head coach Michael Carrick confirmed there is no clear timeline for Benjamin Sesko’s return from a shin problem. According to ESPN, the 23-year-old striker withdrew from Slovenia duty after missing United’s 1-1 draw against Fulham before the international break.
Sesko is recovering from an issue in the same area as an injury that kept him sidelined for three months over the summer, although Carrick stressed it was not exactly the same problem. The forward will miss Saturday’s meeting with Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford, while Patrick Dorgu is expected to be out for several weeks with a hamstring injury.
