Arsenal player ratings vs Leeds United: Bruno Guimaraes 8/10 inspires comeback victory
Arsenal returned from the international break with a comeback victory over Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium, recovering from a difficult first half to secure three points. David Raya kept the hosts in contention with important saves before James Justin put Leeds ahead.
Riccardo Calafiori restored parity, while substitute Bruno Guimaraes completed the turnaround with an impressive finish. Mikel Arteta’s side showed greater urgency after the break, although several players struggled to find their rhythm before the substitutions changed the contest.

Looked slightly short of his usual sharpness and occasionally struggled to contain Leeds’ forward movement, but helped Arsenal recover after the break.
Riccardo Calafiori – 8/10
Made an intelligent run into the box to score Arsenal’s equaliser with a powerful finish. He threatened again shortly afterwards.
Declan Rice – 7/10
Provided energy and control in midfield, underlining his importance to Arsenal. His clever flick helped create Guimaraes’ decisive goal.
Myles Lewis-Skelly – 6/10
Brought intensity to Arsenal’s midfield but struggled to influence proceedings consistently as Leeds competed strongly in the middle.
Martin Odegaard – 7/10
Missed a promising opportunity in the first half but improved as the match progressed, particularly after Guimaraes entered midfield.
Noni Madueke – 6/10
Frequently found promising positions and created a couple of opportunities, although his attacking contributions lacked the consistency needed to unlock Leeds.
