Why Tinubu has my vote in 2027 — Yinka Quadri

Veteran Nollywood actor Yinka Quadri has explained his support for President Bola Tinubu, citing the president’s longstanding assistance to entertainers and government initiatives.

According to TheCable Lifestyle, Quadri disclosed this during an interview with African A List, recalling Tinubu’s intervention in actors’ medical emergencies and bereavements.

“Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has been taking care of Nollywood actors since he was the governor of Lagos state. When Baba Suwe was sick, Asiwaju settled all the hospital bills in Lagos and abroad,” he said.

“When Moji Olaiya passed away and we wanted to bring her body to Nigeria, we approached him to give us $15,000, but he gave us $25,000. He always attended to our needs.”

Quadri also praised the administration’s road projects, pension payments and student loan programme.

He expressed confidence that Tinubu would deliver further improvements if given another term.

The actor’s remarks outlined his reasons for supporting the president ahead of the 2027 election.
