We may give those who don’t see good things happening in Nigeria Tinubu glasses to see clearly- Remi Tinubu mocks husband’s critics
First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has praised President Bola Tinubu’s administration, saying Nigeria is witnessing significant transformation across various sectors despite criticism.
According to Peoples Gazette, she made the remarks Friday while inaugurating the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement campaign headquarters in Abuja.
“Things are happening in Nigeria except those who don’t see; maybe we give them Bola Tinubu eyeglasses,” she said.
The First Lady expressed hope that her husband would secure another term in 2027, enabling her to leave Aso Rock in 2031.
“I want to leave Aso Rock by 2031 by the grace of God and get to Nigeria where as a 70-something-year-old will enjoy. I want to get to the airport and travel so quickly. And you can see that at airports, too, are changing.”
She urged campaigners to promote government policies and engage Nigerians.
The movement, convened by Tompolo, supports Tinubu’s re-election bid.
