A middle-aged man, Temitope Olusoji Bayode, who was arrested for alleged homosexual practice has escaped from the Police and bolted away.
The Police have, therefore, declared him wanted for same sex related activities.
Same Gay and Lesbianism are illegal in Nigeria, and the Nigeria Criminal Code stipulates 14 years imprisonment for anybody caught practicing same-sex sex in the country.
Also, society has not spared anybody caught in same-sex acts as they are discriminated against, most time molested.
It was gathered that Temitope Olusoji Bayode was arrested by the Police for his participation in the August 29, 2023, illicit gay wedding in Asaba, Edo State.
Police were said to have descended on the participants at the wedding but Temitope Olusoji Bayode miraculously escaped when rounded up with others by the local Police.
He is said to be a renowned homosexual and had been arrested in the past for two homosexual offences where he was caught having sex with fellow men and Police are desperately looking for him to face the wrath of the law.
