Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has wondered how he would have coped if his friend, Cubana Chief Priest suffered a jail term of six months like Bobrisky.
He expressed disbelief that the celebrity barman could be jailed for six months for misuse of the nation’s currency.
This followed a response to a post made by Cubana Chief Priest on Instagram.
Cubana Chief Priest had posted on his page after paying a sum of N10 million for alleged naira abuse: “Seeing all your messages and love, I’m so humbled. Now it’s confirmed CP has no small money. Na water.”
The Nation reported that the EFCC had arrested and arraigned the businessman in a notable Nigerian court for alleged naira abuse, but he pleaded not guilty, after which he was granted 10 million naira bail.
Recently, online personality Bobrisky was arrested and arraigned for the same offence, where he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six months in prison.
Davido rushed to the comment page of his celebrity best friend, the Cubana Chief Priest, using Bobrisky as a case, he declared that it was impossible for him not to see the Cubana Chief Priest for six months.
He said: “I no go see you for 6 months ke…. Never.”
