After revealing that Chelsea want to make a ‘secret’ big-money signing in the last days of the transfer window, Fabrizio Romano has now broken the news of the Blues’ interest in Man City forward Cole Palmer.
“Chelsea add Cole Palmer to list of talented offensive players being considered for final addition!” he tweeted.
“Chelsea are set to open talks soon as they see Palmer as best solution. It remains to be seen Man City position on Palmer but Chelsea really want him.”
The 21-year-old is considered one of the most talented players in England. He has six goals and an assist in 41 senior matches for the Citizens, with most of these appearances coming off the bench. He already has two goals in three matches this season, scoring in the Community Shield and the UEFA Super Cup final.
