Allardyce spotted chatting to Jim Ratcliffe as Ten Hag’s future remains unclear

DAILY STAR

Big Sam Allardyce was seen chatting with Manchester United’s co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe as the Red Devils hosted Liverpool on Sunday evening.

United secured a massive point against their bitter rivals as the two sides played out a 2-2 draw. And watching on from the stands was Big Sam, alongside the INEOS chief and Sir Dave Brailsford.

Videos emerged of the trio chatting at half-time as fans joked Allardyce was lining himself up for a job. Big Sam has been out of work since last season, when he failed to avoid the drop as Leeds United boss.

Ten Hag’s future at Old Trafford remains up for debate with the club set to miss out on Champions League qualification. The Dutchman appears confident that he will still be in the hot seat next season, although he is set for talks with the new hierarchy at the end of the campaign.
