Former Chelsea defender William Gallas has urged his old club to prioritize Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli before the transfer window closes.
Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca has already added several new players to revitalize the squad, including Leicester City’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Tosin Adarabioyo, and Omari Kellyman from Aston Villa.
Despite these additions, many fans feel that a prolific striker like Osimhen could be crucial to Chelsea’s Premier League title ambitions.
Gallas, who made 225 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 14 goals and providing eight assists, believes Osimhen could be a transformative signing. He likened Osimhen’s potential impact to that of Didier Drogba, suggesting the Nigerian forward could elevate Chelsea to new levels of success.
