David Walliams 'quits BGT after 10 years as judge' following leaked recording

Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams has reportedly quit the ITV show after 10 years.

It comes after the comedian was forced to apologise for his comments about a contestant.

A source told The Sun: “He hasn’t taken the decision lightly, but it just feels like time to move on.”

An insider close to the TV also said: “David has decided to bow out after a ten-year run. He wants to leave on a high after a wonderful time.

“Being on the show has been a huge source of entertainment and joy for him and he is arguably the most popular member of the panel.”

According to the publication, the comedian hasn’t taken the decision lightly and is going to focus on his other projects.

Though it is expected that BGT fans will be highly disappointed with the news.
