Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have reportedly called it quits. Sources say that they are going their separate ways after a serious argument about a year after their marriage.
The pair reportedly parted ways after a “nuclear” argument. Sam is said to have moved out of the marital home he shared with Britney. An insider told TMZ : “It’s only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce.”
Allegedly, Sam approached Britney about cheating rumours. While it isn’t clear if the rumours are true, the source said that what ensued was a heated argument.
Sam wasn’t the only one to abandon the house, though he apparently hasn’t been at the home much lately anyway. Britney was reported to have moved out as well.
The news comes following reports from a TMZ documentary that their marriage was in ‘deep trouble’. The outlet claimed to have verified this information with ‘multiple sources’. Plus, it has been reported that Britney has escalated their screaming fights to physical actions.
At the time, Sam discredited the documentary, calling it “disgusting” and took advantage of Britney for “a money-making machine” on his Instagram story. He said: “I found it absolutely disgusting for the people who were in her life when she didn’t have a voice, they went and told her story like it was theirs.”
Sam has historically defended Britney from haters and accusations. When Britney’s ex-husband, Kevin Federline, claimed that her sons were avoiding her, Sam was there to flip the blame back onto Kevin and say that the claims had “no validity”.
