‘GOD IS GOOD’: Jamie Foxx shares update, says he is beginning ‘to feel like myself’

Celebrity Jamie Foxx shared a post on Wednesday in which he said that he is beginning to feel like himself again.

“You’re lookin at a man who is thankful… finally startin to feel like myself… it’s been an unexpected dark journey… but I can see the light… I’m thankful to everyone that reached out and sent well wishes and prayers… I have a lot of people to thank… u just don’t know how much it meant… I will be thanking all of you personally… and if you didn’t know… GOD IS GOOD… all day every day,” Foxx’s social media post read. He also included hashtags such as “#imbackandimbetter” and “#nobaddays.”

The post also included several photos of Foxx.

Foxx suffered some sort of serious health issue earlier this year, but he has not publicly disclosed exactly what happened to him.

In a video that he posted last month, the 55-year-old actor, singer, and comedian had said he had gone to “hell and back” and that his path to recovery included “some potholes.”

“Thank u a billion to everybody… been a long road but all the prayers great people and God got me through,” he wrote on the post from last month.

Foxx won an Oscar for his work playing music icon Ray Charles in the 2004 film “Ray.”

Fellow actor Jeremy Renner responded to Foxx’s Wednesday Instagram post by commenting, “Bless you my friend !!!”

Renner has been on his own road to recovery after getting severely injuredwhen he was run over by a snowplow on January 1 of this year.
