Mohbad’s family granted permission for independent autopsy and toxicology test

The Coroner’s Court in Ikorodu, Lagos State, has granted the family of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba (Mohbad) permission to conduct an independent autopsy and toxicology test due to suspicious circumstances surrounding his death

The court’s decision comes after the initial autopsy conducted by the Lagos State Government was deemed inconclusive, and the family’s legal team rejected the results

The family will bear the legal expenses for the toxicology test, and the deceased’s father, mother, and wife are required to be present during the autopsy

The development comes months after Mohbad’s death on September 12, 2023, which sparked controversy and led to the arrest of several individuals, including Naira Marley and Balogun Eletu, aka Sam Larry.
