Tito Jackson, American singer, guitarist, and member of the legendary Jackson family, has passed away at the age of 70 on Sunday, September 15, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Born Toriano Adaryll Jackson on October 15, 1953, in Gary, Indiana, Tito rose to fame as a member of The Jackson 5, alongside his brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael Jackson. Known for his smooth guitar playing, Tito contributed to the group’s distinctive Motown sound, helping them achieve chart-topping success in the late 1960s and 1970s with hits like “I Want You Back,” “ABC,” and “I’ll Be There.”

After The Jackson 5 evolved into The Jacksons, Tito continued performing and recording with his siblings while also pursuing solo endeavors. In 2016, he released his debut solo album Tito Time, showcasing his talents in rhythm and blues, with songs like “Get It Baby” featuring Big Daddy Kane. His music has spanned genres from pop and soul to blues and rock, and his warm stage presence has made him a fan favorite in live performances.
