Thousands of Lagos residents storm the streets in day 3 of #EndBadGovernance protests

For the third day in a row, a massive gathering of Lagos State residents and the Take-It-Back Movement converged in Ojota, Lagos State, to stage a peaceful protest. 

Under the banner of #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria, the protesters remain united in their pursuit of transformative change and accountability.

With slogans and placards, the demonstrators have maintained a serene and orderly atmosphere, vocally expressing their demands for enhanced governance and a more promising future for Nigeria. 

The collective effort continues to showcase the power of peaceful assembly and the shared desire for a better tomorrow.

Meanwhile, one of the protesters’ who shared the pictures of mammoth crowd protesters on the streets of Day 3, called on Nigerians who are online to show their support.

The protester with X handle @VictorIsrael_ wrote: “Lagos Protesters are out. Can we the online protesters show them support?

“Repost for more people to join

#EndBadGovernanceInNigeria”.

However, some Nigerians have expressed reservations over the restrictions of protesters to a stadium or park, adding that the government was yet to speak out because Nigerians had not occupied highways or airports and critical government institutions.

@cillia_king wrote: “Only a foolish person will leave road to protest in a stadium,”

@oluwashinaa02s, however, enjoined those who are looking for locations for protests to either go to Freedom Park OJota or Ikeja Alausa Secretariat.

He wrote: “For those asking for location this is Freedom park OJota Lagos Nigeria, or you can go to Ikeja alausa secretariat!”
