Elon Musk gloats over Microsoft outage by taking a swipe at rival tech giant on X

Tech tycoon, Elon Musk couldn’t resist taking the mick out of Microsoft after a major outage sent the world into meltdown.

The Tesla and SpaceX billionaire reposted one of his old tweets from 2021 where he stated “Macrohard >> Microsoft.”

It implied that the fictitious business, Macrohard performed better than the tech giant. The post simply captioned “…” was viewed and liked thousands of times and set off a string of responses.

One user posted: “Gearing up for the cyber pandemic.”

Another wrote: “Elon Musk is right again. Starting to think Elon Musk and Donald Trump are the same person They are always right about everything.”

While one commented: “X >> Twitter.”

But not content on leaving it there, Musk later reposted a meme with a crying laughing face emoji.

The meme was captioned: “When everything else is down, this app still works.”

One replied: “Elon DOES NOT have a blue screen!”

Another added: “Going to be the king of social media.”

It comes as media companies, airlines, banks, hospitals and supermarkets have been affected by the global tech glitch which hit last night.

Millions of Windows users worldwide are encountering the Blue Screen of Death, causing computers to shut down or restart unexpectedly.
