Five persons reportedly lost their lives while several others were injured as explosion hit Isa town in Isa Local Government Area of Sokoto State, around 12 noon on Sunday.
A source who disclosed this, on Sunday, said, “I was at home when I heard a loud noise. When I came out, I discovered that it was the cylinder of a welder that exploded.
“Three people, including the owner of the shop, died instantly, and their bodies were dismembered.
He said the police used sacks to evacuate their parts, adding that during the process, he heard of another injured person died while in the hospital
He said a trader within the vicinity lost his hand and was rushed to the hospital
Chairman of the council, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa, confirmed the explosion, but could not ascertain the number of dead victims, because he was not in the town as at the time of incident…
