The Federal Government of Nigeria has successfully negotiated with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to lift visa restrictions imposed on Nigerian passport holders. According to the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, the travel ban has been lifted with immediate effect.
The successful negotiations between the Nigerian and UAE authorities have been a welcome development, especially for Nigerians who had been affected by the visa ban. With the travel restrictions lifted, Nigerian passport holders can now visit the UAE without any hindrance.
