Welcome to Rifnote Community! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) outline the rules and guidelines for your use of the Rifnote Community forum (“Forum”). By accessing or using the Forum, you agree to abide by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. User Conduct:
1.1 Respectful Behavior: You agree to engage in respectful and constructive discussions within the Forum. Treat other users with courtesy, and refrain from using offensive, discriminatory, or harassing language or behavior.
1.2 Content Standards: You are responsible for the content you post on the Forum. Ensure that your contributions are lawful, accurate, and relevant. Do not post spam, advertisements, or unauthorized promotional materials.
1.3 Intellectual Property: Respect intellectual property rights. Do not post copyrighted materials without proper authorization or infringe upon the rights of others.
1.4 Privacy: Respect the privacy of others. Do not share personal or confidential information without consent.
2. User Responsibilities:
2.1 Account Creation: You may be required to create an account to access certain features of the Forum. Provide accurate and up-to-date information during the registration process. Keep your account credentials confidential and do not share them with others.
2.2 Account Usage: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or suspected breach of security.
2.3 Compliance with Laws: You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using the Forum.
3. Moderation and Content Management:

4. Limitation of Liability:
4.1 Use at Your Own Risk: The Forum is provided on an “as-is” basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information or content posted on the Forum. Your use of the Forum is at your own risk.
4.2 Indirect Damages: In no event shall Rifnote Community, its owners, administrators, or moderators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Forum.
5. Termination:
5.1 Termination Rights: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Forum, at our discretion and without prior notice, for any reason, including, but not limited to, a violation of these Terms.
5.2 Effect of Termination: Upon termination, you will no longer have access to your account or the Forum. Any provisions of these Terms that should reasonably survive termination will continue to apply.
6. Changes to the Terms:
6.1 Updates: These Terms may be updated from time to time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any material changes. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically.
6.2 Acceptance of Changes: By continuing to use the Forum after the updated Terms have been posted, you indicate your acceptance of the revised Terms.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
7.1 Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
7.2 Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Nigeria.
By using the Rifnote Community forum, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, please refrain from accessing or using the Forum.
Terms and Conditions for Top 3 Contributor Revenue Program – Rifnote Forum
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before participating in the Top 3 Contributor Revenue Program (the “Program”) offered by Rifnote Forum (the “Forum”). By participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Eligibility:
1.1 To be eligible for the Program, you must be a registered member of Rifnote Forum and comply with the Forum’s general terms of service and community guidelines.
1.2 The Program is open to individuals aged 18 years or older. Employees, representatives, and affiliates of Rifnote Forum, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate in the Program.
2. Program Mechanics:
2.1 The Program rewards the top three contributors of the month based on their overall engagement, including but not limited to the number of high-quality posts, helpful answers, insightful comments, and positive contributions to the Forum community.
2.2 The top contributor will receive the highest revenue share, followed by the second and third top contributors, respectively. The exact revenue share distribution will be determined and communicated by Rifnote Forum at its sole discretion.
2.3 The revenue share will be calculated based on Rifnote Forum’s monetization model, which may include advertising revenue, sponsorships, or any other income generated by the Forum.
2.4 The Program operates on a monthly basis, with each month’s top contributors being announced at the beginning of the following month.
3. Payment and Revenue Share Distribution:
3.1 The revenue share earned by the top three contributors will be paid out within 30 days after the announcement of the winners.
3.2 The payment will be made in a currency determined by Rifnote Forum and using a payment method agreed upon by both parties.
3.3 Rifnote Forum reserves the right to withhold or forfeit the revenue share if a winner is found to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions or has engaged in fraudulent activities or misconduct.
3.4 Winners are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date payment information to receive their revenue share. Rifnote Forum shall not be liable for any delays or issues arising from incorrect payment details provided by the winners.
4. Taxes and Legal Compliance:
4.1 Winners are solely responsible for any taxes or duties applicable to the revenue share received through the Program.
4.2 Winners must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements related to the revenue share. Rifnote Forum shall not be held responsible for any legal consequences resulting from a winner’s failure to comply with such obligations.
5. Indemnification:
5.1 By participating in the Program, you agree to indemnify and hold Rifnote Forum, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from and against any claims, demands, actions, suits, losses, costs, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Program or any content uploaded, posted, or shared by you on the Forum.
6. Modifications and Termination:
6.1 Rifnote Forum reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice.
6.2 Rifnote Forum may change these Terms and Conditions at its sole discretion, and any such changes will be communicated to participants through Rifnote Forum’s website or other appropriate means.
6.3 In the event of Program termination, Rifnote Forum shall have no further obligations to participants regarding the revenue share.
7. General Conditions:
7.1 Participation in the Program does not create any employment, agency, or partnership relationship between participants and Rifnote Forum.
7.2 Rifnote Forum reserves the right to disqualify or remove participants from the Program if they violate Rifnote Forum’s terms of service, community guidelines, or engage in any form of abusive or inappropriate behavior.
7.3 Participants agree that Rifnote Forum may use their usernames, avatars, or other identifying information for promotional purposes related to the Program without additional compensation.
8. Limitation of Liability:
8.1 To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rifnote Forum shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the Program, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of data, or loss of reputation.
8.2 Rifnote Forum’s total liability, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the Program shall not exceed the amount of revenue share earned by a participant.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
9.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria.
9.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
