The allegation that President Muhammadu Buhari is appointing only persons from the northern region of the country into key agencies of government has further been strengthened as he named Senator Basheer Mohammed as the new Director General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).
Garba Shehu, Presidential spokesman, announced the new appointment in a statement on Thursday.
