During a recent interview with Billboard’s Nadine Graham, the DMW boss corrected the interviewer’s suggestion of his leadership specifically in the United States, asserting his dominance “everywhere.”
Davido emphasized his aim as the global leader of Afrobeats is to deliver exceptional music, stating, “Just good music. And it’s crazy, because people in jail have heard my music.”
Furthermore, the singer revealed he is currently crafting two albums, tailored for both African and American audiences.
Davido also shared insights into his favorite collaboration, ‘2 AM’ with Casanova and Tory Lanez, highlighting how the track seamlessly merges Canadian, Nigerian, and American cultures.
