A former chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Attahiru Jega and Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State in Abuja on Wednesday brought the contentious debate about the unity of Nigeria to the front burner saying the nation’s elected leaders have compromised the unity of the country.
They spoke during a summit on national unity organized by a socio-political organisation, the National Prosperity Movement with the theme: ‘Nigeria – The imperative of unity.’
