Donald Trump is convinced Elon Musk will back down from his Twitter purchase

Donald Trump wants to offer his two cents on Musk buying Twitter

In recent days, Elon Musk appeared in public to say that the Twitter purchase wasn’t completed yet. His main concern with the platform was the incredibly high number of bots and fake accounts he would have to erase. But for former president Donald Trump, doing this will be practically impossible given the fast rate at which fake accounts are created on a daily basis.

In fact, the former president himself has been experiencing this exact problem with his new platform ‘Truth Social’. Several reporters and investigators have gotten on the platform and describe it as a bot conservative ghost town. But of course, Donald Trump will hype it up despite what’s really going on.

Trump thinks Elon will back down from buying Twitter.

Donald Trump took his words to Truth Social to talk about Elon Musk not buying Twitter. He mentioned the specific reason why he believes this will happen in a long post but he also took time to hype up his own platform.

This is what Trump wrote: “There is no way Elon Musk is going to buy Twitter at such a ridiculous price, especially since realizing it is a company largely based on BOTS or Spam Accounts. ake anyone? By the time you get rid of them, if that can even be done, what do you have? Not much? Just my opinion, but Truth Social is MUCH better than Twitter and is absolutely exploding, incredible engagement.”

Elon Musk on X (formerly Twitter): “Twitter deal temporarily on hold pending details supporting calculation that spam/fake accounts do indeed represent less than 5% of usershttps://t.co/Y2t0QMuuyn / X”

Elon can still back down from the purchase, but this decision will ultimately cost him dearly. Musk has been doing his very own due diligence with Twitter’s bots and invited other users to prove the percentage of fake accounts in the platform. He is convinced that at least 5% of all users are either bots or fakes.

But doing this may cost him even more as he revealed Twitter’s legal team let him know that he violated an NDA by revealing this process of identifying fake users. Musk couldn’t believe it was happening. This has to be yet another good reason to not buy Twitter after all.

Elon Musk on X (formerly Twitter): “Twitter legal just called to complain that I violated their NDA by revealing the bot check sample size is 100!This actually happened. / X”
