Finland-based self-acclaimed Prime Minister of Biafran government Republic, Simon Ekpa, has replied to the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, for distancing herself from his (Ekpa) alleged claim that she supported him in securing $57.5billion to form the Biafran government.

Ekpa said that while Okonjo-Iweala was quick to disown the claim where her name was mentioned to secure purported $57.5 billion loan from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to form Biafran government, she has been mute about the killings of her people by the Nigerian government she served.

Ekpa, who said this in a post on his verified X account while reacting to the Nigerian former Minister of finance’s post, however denied making the X post, though the claim was made on his verified X account.

He wrote, “Dear Madam @NOIweala, I never tweeted such, it is even surprising that you can tweet this because your name was mentioned.

“We have been tweeting about the Nigeria terrorism against your people and you never responded nor showed any remorse.

“Here you are, defending what nonentities did with your name, but have been mute about all the killings by the government you served.

“I congratulate you for always defending yourself and your integrity, even when they are photoshopped.

“It shows you are really a mother. Thank you for defending yourself but I never tweeted such a thing, it is false and fake.”

In another tweet, Ekpa said, “Please the criminals should make another photoshop, your propaganda is working against me seriously, i am now hiding under bridge in Oshodi.”

Ekpa further said in another X post, “The criminals wanted to blackmail me with @NOIweala photoshopped tweet, but everything is working against them. Now those following her will go and check Biafra Government.

“In 2023 they did the same with the Prime Minister of Finland, of which the Finnish embassy debunked the letter.

“Biafrans, remain focused, we are winning, no propaganda will move us.”

SaharaReporters earlier reported that the former minister had posted Ekpa’s claim which he made in a tweet on Wednesday where he said, “Breaking: The World Bank and IMF have agreed to loan the sum of $57.5 billion to Biafra Republic Government in Exile (BRGIE) to form our government after December 2nd, 2024 declaration of Biafra.

“I thank our sister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala for helping me to facilitate the loan.”

She disowned Ekpa’s claim, describing it as outrageous and false, and warned those seeking to misuse her name to desist.
