A bloke died cutting the grass as a strimmer blade flew off and severed his penis, causing severe blood loss, it has been reported.
The Thai man had been tending to a patch of grass at a forest park in the Isaan province of Nong Bua Lamphu when the freak accident happened, Thaiger reported.
Praditsin Chuypad, 39, was soaked in blood by the time officers from Mueang Nong Bua Lamphu Police Station made it to the scene.
The strimmer was located near the lifeless body, next to a broken metal cutting blade that police reckon broke on impact with the victim.
The rescue team removed the victim’s trousers to determine the cause of death, finding that his manhood had been severed and that he also sustained a deep wound to his groin.
It transpired that Praditsin had been hired to tend to the grass in the forest park and the day of his death, June 28, was supposed to be his last day.
