Lucy Letby, the former nurse found guilty of murdering seven babies, will spent Christmas behind bars with a private TV in her cell, and was given a holiday makeover.
Despite being handed a whole-life order for her horrific crimes earlier this year, she maintains her innocence and is currently facing a re-trial for one count of attempted murder.
Letby, who is believed to be locked up in HMP Bronzefield in Surrey, has reportedly been granted new “privileges” that other inmates wait much longer for, including a makeover, The Mirror reports. The Prison Service has stated it “cannot comment on individual cases,” however.
But a source has shed light on how Letby, who was blonde at the time of her arrest, has altered her look whilst in prison. The Sun reported the killer nurse changed to a new hair colour, choosing a brown.
It has also been referenced that she is still without any prison work and gets comforts of a single cell equipped with an en-suite shower, desk and personal TV. Her having her own telly box has supposedly sparked annoyance among other inmates.
A source said: “Letby seems happy as Larry. She is in a nice cell and on her own. The facilities at Bronzefield are much nicer than most jails because it’s privately run.
