A married woman is contemplating whether or not she “wants an affair” after admitting all she can think about is “going home with this random guy”.
Taking to Mumsnet, she revealed she has been with her husband for seven years and the pair tied the knot two years ago. While their home life is “great”, their sex life is only “okay” and lately her mind has been wandering.
She has even been eyeing up other guys when she’s on dates with her husband. She wrote: “Out for dinner and drinks tonight and a man at the bar was making BIG eyes at me across the bar. I wouldn’t normally notice but he was very good looking and not super subtle about looking at me.”
Now, after having her head turned, the woman says she is contemplating a change in direction. “All I can think about is going home with this random guy!” she gushed. “I know attraction is inevitable in marriage but am I destined to an ‘okay’ paint by numbers sex life?! I feel like I chose a happy/comfy life over a passionate one.”
She confessed she is simply “desperate for one really good night of sex when I’m not having to say ‘no softer, no harder'”. She cursed: “It’s been seven years! Surely he should know by now.”
Scores of other women warned her against any infidelity, however. “Random one-night stands… the men aren’t particularly motivated to be any good either,” one explained. “They’re getting their rocks off and if they won’t see you gain, why would they try very hard? Your actual issue is that you settled and are regretting it.”
