Armed bandits on Friday night invaded Batati town in Lavun local government area of Niger state leaving several people injured.
Eyewitness account stated that the bandits arrived in the community in a white Hilux vehicle and perform congregational Ishai prayers at about 8 pm with the members of the community.
It was learnt that after the prayers, the bandits began firing into the air causing people to run and hide for safety.
