The Federal Government said marriages consummated in Ikoyi Registry are valid and dismissed reports that a court invalidated marriages held at registries.
Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Dr Shuaib Belgore, said in a statement that the judgment as reported will amount to a contradiction.
