Tears flow when the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka returned to the adoration ground in Emene, Enugu State to address the congregation.
Our correspondent reports that Mbaka’s congregation have gathered at the adoration ground on Wednesday for their weekly prayer despite the ban by the Bishop of Enugu Catholic Diocese, Bishop Calistus Onaga
A video posted on Adoration’s official Facebook page shows Mbaka arriving at the Adoration Ministry Enugu ground at Emene to address thousands of his followers the majority are women as they have continued to converge at the ground for prayer despite the shutdown.
Tears continued to flow as Mbaka addressed them and urged them to go back home until the ban is lifted
He said “ I am here to inform you that all activities of adoration ministry remain closed until my Bishop lifts the ban because I have to obey and respect my bishop.
“I’m a priest of the Catholic Church and the Bishop is my father, I swore an oath to obey him and his successors. I can not do otherwise.”
