Buhari hosts traditional, religious leaders in Makkah

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday hosted religious and traditional leaders from across the six geopolitical zones of the country at an Iftar dinner (breaking of fast) in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the event was part of the president’s ongoing official engagements in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Speaking at the event, the Nigerian leader underscored the policy of his administration to develop all parts of the country without discrimination.

He expressed the hope that the special occasion of the Ramadan would deepen the spirit of harmony in Nigeria and inspire citizens to work hard for the country and care for those who in need.
