Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari, has expressed her gratitude to all Nigerians for their support and prayers for the administration of her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari, in the past eight years.
Buhari will hand over to President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on May 29, 2023, after eight years in office.
Tinubu, who is also a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) like the outgoing President, won the February 25 presidential election.
The First Lady, in a statement issued by the Director, Information in her office, Suleiman Haruna, wished the incoming administration of Tinubu a very peaceful and successful tenure.
She also urged Nigerians to continue to pray for sustainable peace and security in the country.
