Kwara State University, Malete, has been thrown into mourning following the death of Dr Ajeigbe Issa Yaqub, a lecturer in the institution.
Dr Ajeigbe, until his death on Monday, was the Head of Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education and the Acting Director of Sports of the university.
A statement by Dr Kikelomo Sallee, Registrar of the university on Monday announced the death of the lecturer, describing him as a committed member of staff.
