A 14-year-old Italian boy from Tolmezzo near Udine in Friuli died Friday from a mosquito bite in Brazil, the Messaggero Veneto online reported Saturday.
It did not add any details on the pathology that caused the boy’s death.
The boy, immediately after passing his first year of high school assessment, flew to Brazil with his Brazilian mother to meet some relatives of her relatives, the Messaggero said.
The boy’s father, a noted Tolmezzo small businessman, has taken the earliest flight to the South American country.
