‘Money na water’, Cubana Chief Priest brags after N10m bail

Popular socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, has reacted to the N10 million bail granted him at the Federal High Court in Lagos over the allegation of naira abuse.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned Cubana Chief Priest on three-count charges of spraying and tampering with the naira notes during an event at Eko Hotels, Lagos.When the case was called, Mrs Bilikisu Buhari appeared for the prosecution while Mr Chikaosolu Ojukwu, a senior advocate, announced appearance for Cubana Chief Priest.

Ojukwu, then first informed the court of a preliminary objection, challenging the court’s jurisdiction as well as a bail application filed on behalf of his client.He informed the court that the prosecution was not opposed to the same.

After the charge was read to Cubana Chief Priest, he pleaded not guilty to the charge.Consequently, Justice Kehinde Ogundare granted him a bail of N10 million.Following his bail, the socialite took to his Instagram, to boast that he has money to resolve the issue. He also acknowledged his fans.

“Seeing All You Messages & Love I’m So Humbled. Now It’s Confirmed CP No Small. Money Na Water,” he wrote.“Davido, I no go see u for 6 months ke never! Yomi Casual, thank God o.”
