Report exposes lavish lunch menu at Abuja International School amid Yahaya Bello scandal

Following revelations of alleged misuse of state funds to pay tuition fees at the American International School of Abuja (AISA), a recent report unveils the extravagant lunch menu served at the institution.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had accused former Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello of utilizing state funds for his children’s education at AISA.

Obtained by The Whistler, the school’s lunch menu for April 2024 illustrates a selection of lavish international cuisines enjoyed by students, including Bello’s children, amid reported hardships faced by Kogi State residents due to alleged maladministration.

The menu includes dishes such as Philly cheesesteak, Salami pizza, BBQ chicken burritos, beef kebabs with jollof rice, char-grilled chicken with mac and cheese, chutney chicken sandwiches, and chicken shawarma wraps for lunch at school.

Every meal has fresh vegetable sides like niçoise salad, fattoush salads, coleslaw, and Greek salads.
