The National Coalition of Northern Lawyers and Public Interest Activists (NCNLPIA) have praised the Federal High Court in Kano for reinstating Ado Bayero as Emir of Kano. Napoleon Otache, NCNLPIA convener, commended the ruling for upholding the rule of law and protecting traditional institutions.
He called it a victory for justice and the people of Kano. Otache urged Governor Abba Yusuf to apologize to Bayero for his dethronement and respect the court’s decision. He emphasized that the judiciary remains the last hope for the common man, highlighting the court’s role in ensuring the rule of law.
