The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, has announced that over 200 Chinese companies have expressed interest in enhancing economic ties with Nigeria. This news was shared during Tuggar’s visit to China, where a China-Nigeria Business Exchange event was organized.
While this signals potential benefits for Nigeria in terms of investments, job creation, and infrastructure development, there is also a need for caution given the past history of lopsided trade deals between the two nations.
