The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has scheduled the Policy Meeting on Admissions for July 18, 2024, to set minimum cut-off marks for 2024/2025 admissions.
The meeting will be chaired by the Minister of Education, Tahir Mamman, and attended by critical stakeholders, including heads of regulatory agencies and tertiary institutions .
The policy meeting will review reports on the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) applications, and analyze key performance indicators to shape admission policies.
The meeting aims to determine the year’s admission requirements, discuss unresolved issues, and appraise stakeholder compliance with advisories, suggesting further amendments as necessary.
