The #EndBadGovernance protests in Katsina State took a violent turn on Thursday when hoodlums looted properties. Reports indicate that several people lost their lives after the protest was allegedly hijacked by miscreants who looted shops and vandalized residents’ property.
This violence occurred before the protesters could reach their planned demonstration site.
Security personnel had to fire multiple gunshots to disperse the agitated protesters and restore order.
