Tragedy struck the Bakinpah-Maro community in Kaduna State’s Kajuru Local Government Area when daredevil bandits attacked ECWA and Catholic churches during Sunday service, killing at least three Christian worshippers and kidnapping 31 others, including a pastor.
Former Kajuru LGA Chairman Cafra Caino confirmed the incident, revealing that the assailants, who arrived around 10 am in large numbers, specifically targeted the two churches and shot sporadically.
Among those abducted was Pastor Bernard Gajera from one of the churches.
