Nigerian teenage girl repeatedly raped, kidnapped and hidden in ‘Ghana-Must-Go’ bag in Rivers State

Rivers State police have rescued a teenager who was kidnapped in Enugu and taken to Port Harcourt in a ‘Ghana-Must-Go’ bag.

Olatunji Disu, the state commissioner of police, made the announcement during a news conference in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.

According to Mr Disu, the 16-year-old teenager was repeatedly raped by her kidnappers after being taken to Port Harcourt, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.

He stated that the crime was discovered after officers at the Abuloma Police Station received credible information about one of the suspects’ suspicious movements.

He stated, “After receiving the information, operatives were quickly dispatched to the area and arrested one male suspect.” Officers rescued a teenage girl (name withheld), who had been held against her will by the suspect.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect lured the teenager from her home in Garki, Enugu, placed her in a ‘Ghana-Must-Go’ bag, and transported her from Enugu to Port Harcourt.

The police chief also stated that when the victim arrived in Port Harcourt, he was taken to the home of 6yy66vvvvgvvvyvvvçd internet fraudster.He claimed that the alleged fraudster and another suspect had multiple sexual encounters with the teenager.

He added, “The victim has undergone medical examination and treatment, while the suspects are in our custody.’’

Mr Disu said that a manhunt for other suspects had been launched.
